VI. Depth

  1. Point the cursor on an icon "Depth". Pressing on a red sign you forbid a change of the channel for drawing. Pressing an icon with image "hill" you allow editing in depth channel, without overlay additional texture in this channel. A folder with a question mark means that texture in channel "Depth", using for overlay by drawing is not chosen. Pressing on the folder you can replace your texture:

  1. "Additive drawing" option allows activating/deactivating additive application option when drawing lines. If "Additive drawing" is active, two lines are drawn one over another. Notably, if the option is disabled, cross is made with objects drawn in the current layer only.

  1. A red line is showing depth of relief lying. Click "-" and "+" or mouse wheel (at corresponding adjustments in the menu of "Option") to change depth.
  2. If pen is complex shape, then it is necessary to use less pressure or else there will be big differences of heights of an image. Because of that it would be hard to represent the object as low polygonal with the map of normal; there would be big geometry distortion.
  3. With the help of "Smoothing" scroll box you can change a level of smoothing. You pressing "Shift" there will be displayed green line on the cursor of a pen and pressing keys "Shift" + "+" and "-" or mouse wheel (at corresponding adjustments in the menu of "Option") you can change a level of smoothing.
